Oil Exploration
- Nippon Power has been awarded two Discovered Small Oil fields for exploration of oil and gas by the Government of India.
- The founders of Nippon Power have always believed that India should be less reliant on exports for oil and gas and the auction of these rich hydrocarbon oil fields in the Cambay Basin came as a blessing.

- These two fields in the Cambay Basin have been drilled for oil before by ONGC & Nippon plans to continue to explore oil in the region.
- Nippon Power is the FIRST oil producer in India from the DSF-1 round announced by the Government of India. The first 75 barrel tanker was dispatched in June 2021 to the ONGC facility which will be sent onwards to the IOCL Refinery.
